We wish everyone a healthy and successful 2024! After the holidays, Siebe prepared for the first international competition of the year, CSI Groningen. He competed with Bijoux, Estoril du Cèdre, Karamella, and Plopsa Blue Z.

On Thursday, he started with Karamella in the 2* 1.35, where they were clear. Bijoux also jumped clear in the 1* GP qualifier, which qualified them for the 1* GP on Saturday.

On Friday, Plopsa Blue Z jumped to second place in the 2* 1.35, and Siebe and Karamella took part in the “take your own line” class, where they had to design their own course to collect as many points as possible. They finished second in this class, just behind Mel Thijssen, who started last and improved Siebe’s time.

On Saturday, Siebe started with Bijoux, Estoril, and Karamella in the GP’s and finals. Karamella won the 2* Medium Tour final, Bijoux jumped clear again in the 1* GP, finishing second. Estoril du Cèdre wrapped up the weekend with a solid round and placed in the 2* 1.45 GP.
