After Siebe & Karamella made a great impression at CHIO Aachen, Siebe received an invitation from Rolex to compete at the Spruce Meadows Masters in Canada! Another unique experience to compete at one of the biggest events in the world, this time on the other side of the ocean.

On Saturday, Plopsa Blue Z & Fleur landed in Calgary. After a smooth flight, Plopsa had time to adjust to the new environment and recover from the trip. On Monday, Siebe & Koen arrived, and on Tuesday, both grandfathers and the owners joined. After a few successful training sessions, it was time to start on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the first competition was on the schedule: a 2** 1.45 with a jump-off. Siebe and Plopsa started with a flawless round and finished in a respectable 6th place!

On Friday, another 2** 1.45 class was planned, this time in the main arena. Plopsa was a little overwhelmed but finished the course with a relaxed feeling. She was ready for the GP on Sunday.

Sunday was all about the GPs, both the 2** and the Rolex GP. Siebe and Plopsa delivered another solid, fault-free round and finished in 9th place after the jump-off!

We also saw Leone Jei again. After the 2* GP, we watched the Rolex GP, where we saw Martin and Leone Jei win the tough CPKC Rolex GP at Spruce Meadows. It was amazing to see them achieve such a great result again!

We would like to thank Rolex Grand Slam once again for giving Siebe the opportunity to gain experience at these prestigious events! It was a huge honor to compete alongside the biggest names in the equestrian world!
