Dit jaar hebben we 5 gezonde veulens gekregen.

This year, we welcomed 5 healthy foals.

Three foals were born at our place. The first two foals were born here; namely, at the end of March, a bay filly by Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero x Kashmir van ’t Schuttershof x Andiamo Z. In mid-May, a bay colt was born by Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero x Emilion x Lord Z. At the beginning of June, the last foal was born, this time at the Bemi Hoeve, as this was for the 4-year-old Enjoy her first foal. It was a beautiful chestnut filly by Emerald van ’t Ruytershof x Ermitage Kalone x Andiamo Z.

Two of these foals were created via embryo transfer from Karamella into two recipient mares. Both embryos have the stallion Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero as their sire. Within one week, both foals were born from the two recipient mares. Both foals are fillies, with the first foal being a chestnut and the second a bay. It’s quite fascinating that both foals share the same DNA, yet have different color.

As you can see, Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero was in demand. We hope to see these horses back in the stable in three years!
