Last week, Siebe travelled once again to Azelhof in Lier for the international 2* tour. With four horses; L’Espoir, Gem vd Riloo, and Plopsa Blue in the 2* classes, and Maestro Gusto vd Laarse Heide in the Young Horse Tour. It will be a busy yet promising competition.
On Thursday, Maestro Gusto set the tone right away with an impressive 6th place finish in the 7- and 8-year-old class. Plopsa Blue also jumped impressive, securing a top-10 result in the 2* 1.35m.
Friday turned out to be a highlight. Maestro Gusto showed his class once again, taking the win in the 7/8-year-old class. Plopsa Blue maintained her great form, finishing in the top-5 of the 2* 1.40m. Later that day, Gem vd Riloo made a big impression in the 2* 1.45m Longines Ranking class. In the jump-off, he was unbeatable; fast, sharp, and clear, earning the victory!
Consistency continued on Saturday. Plopsa Blue delivered another clear round and claimed a strong 3rd place. L’Espoir followed up with a top-5 finish.
